How long can our unopened products be stored?
In general, our products can be kept up to 2 years. Store our products in a cool, dry place. Never put them above the stove, under the sink, in a damp garage or basement, or any place exposed to high or low temperature extremes.
What is the numeric code on label? Is it the expiration date?
The manufacturing code is the date we produced the product. For example, "010110" means we made that product on January 1, 2010. If there is a "Best By" code, then the product should be consumed by that date.
How long can I keep these products once they have been opened?
Once opened, the hummus, salsa, maple pumpkin butter, etc. should be refridgerated and are best enjoyed within two weeks. Once opened, the mustards can be kept refrigerated up to a year.
I opened a few jars to sample at a party. Can I safely keep the leftovers?
It's best to only put out what you think you'll use. Once you open a jar you should consider it a perishable. Throw away any perishable food left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the temperature was above 90 °F). (Source: FDA.gov)
